Lavar Ball said if they want to talk shoe deal it just went up to 3 BILLION

My thoughts below

I personally think this is a great example of how to do for self on this level. Growing up many of us as athletes dreamed about signing contracts for big brands to represent THEM but never really thought about using our talents to represent OURSELVES. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan explained this mindset when it comes to rappers, he talked about how our beef with each other stops us from coming together and the white men in power use our talent to make money. Watch below

Brother Lavar Ball said “Now you know … if they want to talk to me now, it just went up to $3 billion. Triple Bs — billion, billion, billion,” he said, adding: “That’s the only way they going to come at me. I’m already in the building. I don’t need them for nothing, as you can tell.”

He’s basically saying we did this on our own, we DON’T NEED YOU now if you want to do it pay what we are WORTH and that’s how we all should move when we are being used for our talent or mental ability.

  1. Hey bro Ben, I caught the short version of ya Ball video. I’ve recently heard about a shoe deal but was utterly clueless of the young players name. I’d also seen the dad in an interview, but again I wasn’t aware of whom he was. However, what caught my attention was his poignant frank reply regarding being his sons father & being actively present in his sons lives! I salute him & his family for showing the 🌍 how it’s meant to b βœ…! I’m a mother of 4 young academic athletes who’s father walked out on us 25 years ago when they were πŸ‘¦πŸΎ7, πŸ‘¦πŸΎ5, πŸ‘¦πŸΎ3 & πŸ‘¦πŸΎ2 yrs of age! He was around for games only! He NEVER earned or deserved the title/position of father! He to was a great πŸ€ player. But he didn’t hv the business mindset as the ball men: father & grandfather does! My ex would hv sold my sons up or dwn the river for a few πŸ’΅ & a sneaker πŸ‘Ÿ!!! My eldest played @ the AF Academy straight out of high school in 2003. My younger 3 also earned academic & athletic scholarships to attend a University & play collegiate basketball πŸ€! My youngest son just flew to Beijing China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ last Wednesday & is playing on a tournament team there!
Again thx for your insight & I progratuations the Ball πŸ€ family on their larger than life empire in the making!!!! πŸ‘§πŸΎ
