This is a simple and delicious recipe, to help you to increase your green veggies and reduce your grains.
You can use ground grass-fed beef, ground turkey, or ground chicken. The roasted bell peppers in this recipe are store-bought. You should be able to easily find them at your local store, in the condiments section. They’re usually in glass jars. Measurements are approximate, and can be adjusted to your liking, and appetite.
-1 head of butter lettuce
-2 oz seasoned ground turkey (about 1 cup)
-roasted red bell pepper
Brown and season the ground turkey, beef, or chicken with salt, pepper, dried onion flakes, and/or other desired seasonings.
Layer it, with all other ingredients, in order, as listed above. Drizzle with mustard and ketchup. Add shredded raw cheese, if you’d like. Dig in.
