When trying to avoid overly processed food products, it can be frustrating. I hope to help alleviate some of the possible irritation when trying to eat healthier.
Today’s recipe is soy sauce alternative that I hope will make things just a bit easier for you.
There are some who use something called liquid aminos as a soy sauce substitute, but knowing that it is high in an MSG-like component, I avoid it also. Due to the way in which liquid aminos are processed, the product is high in free glutamic acid, which is what makes MSG so undesirable and unhealthy.
So, try this all-natural, soy sauce alternative, that contains no white/processed salt, and no MSG-like aspects, and tell me how you like it in the comments below!
3 tbsp blackstrap molasses (unsulphured)
3 tbsp water
3 tsp sea salt (Redmond Realsalt is best)
Mix all ingredients. Use just as you would soy sauce. Enjoy!
