There is still kindness in the world despite what Donald Trump and his horrific administration may claim. With all of the NFL protests and Trumps complaining, we missed out on something truly incredible in the world of Football.
Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson donated his first game paycheck to three cafeteria workers who were affected by Hurricane Harvey.
“For what you all do for us every day and never complain, I really appreciate you all, so I wanted to give my first game check to y’all to help y’all out in some type of way,” Watson told the women in a video shared by the Texans, ESPN reports. “Here you guys go,” Watson said handing the each an envelope wrapped with a bow.
Watson who’s base salary is $465,000, split his game check of $27,353 three ways. ESPN notes that Watson has been the one in need of a helping hand before as his family were the recipients of a house built by Habitat for Humanity.
“Hopefully, that’s good and that can get you back on your feet,” Watson told the women. “And anything else y’all need, I’m always here to help.”
