A $20,000 check made out by Dr. Dre almost had Suge Knight visiting what old folks call “the upper room”.
The former Death Row executive, Suge Knight, claims in summer 2016 he was shown a check made out for 20 grand by Dr. Dre to a man named Dwayne Johnson. Knight alleges Johnson was paid to have him killed the same day he ran over another man in a fast-food parking lot.
Not sure if you all remember, but back in January 2015, Suge Knight was involved in a fatal hit and run that left businessman Terry Carter dead and one other man injured, an incident in which Johnson was present. Watch the video below…
The hit and run allegedly stemmed from an argument that started on the nearby set of the trailer shoot for the NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton.
In most of the allegations that Suge Knight has brought forth, he never goes into too much detail. I’m assuming he wants to be paid for providing information. In this recent allegation against Dre, he doesn’t speak on how the money was payment for his murder, but claims he had a reason to fear for his life when he entered the parking lot where the hit-and-run eventually took place. Knight has pleaded not guilty to murder charges in the incident, according to CNN.
Since Suge has been in prison, he has come forth with plenty of “stories” about his life that will gain him media attention. He went as far as to state that he doesn’t believe that Tupac is dead! Really Suge? Since the crumble of his empire, money has been Suge’s only motive, and so far, more and more people are turning away from the former music mogul, and are taking his stories to be just what they are… stories.
